Every garden party booking includes a portable mobile bar hire unit suitable for outdoor surfaces, a professional bartender, a bespoke drinks menu, quality glassware, ice, and full setup and strike. Drink quantities are calculated per head so you never run short mid-afternoon. We agree setup time and access with you in advance.

All-inclusive packages cover spirits, mixers, garnishes, soft drinks, and a non-alcoholic cocktail option, so every guest has something worth raising. Dry hire is quoted individually if you're supplying the drinks yourself. Public liability insurance is included on every booking. Licensing requirements are checked for each event, and we can arrange a Temporary Event Notice where required and agreed.

Garden Party Cocktail Menu.

Garden parties call for light, refreshing serves that hold up in warm weather without demanding a full cocktail bar setup. Our most popular outdoor menu combines Pimm's Cup, Aperol Spritz, Elderflower Gin Fizz, Mojito, and a chilled Rosé Sangria. Prosecco and sparkling water on arrival round out the welcome. We build the menu around your event time, afternoon parties lean lighter; evening garden parties can take something with more weight.

03 - Pricing

Garden Party Bar Hire Pricing.

Priced individually for your guest count. Our standard open-bar rates (£6.50 per adult per hour without alcoholic cocktails, £7.50 with, first four hours) apply from 100 adults. This covers bartenders, glassware, ice, outdoor setup, and strike.

Dry hire bar packages are quoted individually if you supply the drinks. Any travel charge is confirmed in your quote. See our full pricing page for all package tiers, or read our cost guide for budget breakdowns by event type.

Open-bar rates have no VAT added on top. Other formats are confirmed in your quote. Final quote depends on guest count, duration, drink selection, and venue access.

04 - Setup & Logistics

Garden Bar Setup Details.

We agree setup time and access with you in advance. For garden setups, we need vehicle access to within 30 metres of the bar position, driveways, side gates, or rear access are all fine. We carry all equipment by hand if needed, but closer access means faster build. Power is via a standard 13A UK plug socket, an extension lead to the nearest outdoor or indoor socket is all we need.

For gardens without mains power access, we supply a silent generator at an additional cost. We bring weighted parasol covers for sun protection where there's no marquee. Our bar unit is fully weatherproof on the service side, but we recommend a 3m x 3m gazebo minimum if rain is forecast, we can advise on suppliers when you book.

Yes. Our mobile bar units are designed for outdoor surfaces including grass, gravel, patio, and decking. We use levelling boards on uneven ground and weatherproof the setup where required. For marquee or gazebo events, we coordinate with your structure supplier on placement and power access.
What drinks work best for a garden party bar? +

How do you handle weather contingencies for outdoor bar hire? +
We monitor the forecast and plan accordingly. Our bar unit includes a weatherproof back panel. Ice quantities are adjusted for temperature. For events exposed to direct rain, we strongly recommend booking a gazebo or marquee, we can advise on minimum dimensions needed to cover the bar setup. We do not cancel due to UK drizzle.
How much space does a garden bar setup need? +
Our standard outdoor bar unit needs a footprint of 2.4m wide by 0.8m deep, plus 1.5m clearance behind for the bartender to work. Allow a 3m zone in front for guest queuing. For a marquee setup, the minimum tent width to house the bar comfortably is 4m. We can also run a compact setup at 1.8m wide for smaller patios and balcony terraces.
Can you do a garden party bar for an afternoon event? +
Yes. Afternoon garden parties (typically 1pm-5pm or 2pm-6pm) work well between May and September. We adjust the menu to suit daytime drinking, lighter serves like Pimm's, spritz, and elderflower fizz, with a prosecco reception option on arrival. Non-alcoholic cocktails are included as standard for afternoon events.
