The TEN must be lodged with West Berkshire Council or the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead at least 10 working days before the event. We submit all TEN applications; your only requirement is confirming the event date and guest count in time.

Ascot & Windsor
Ascot and Windsor have the highest concentration of high-end private event bookings in Berkshire, clustered around Royal Ascot in June, the Guards Polo Club season in Windsor Great Park, and corporate hospitality events throughout the summer. Pre-race and post-race private parties in houses along Ascot's residential streets and marquee events on estate grounds are our most common Ascot-area bookings.
Windsor's event calendar extends beyond racing. The town hosts corporate retreats, charity dinners, and private celebrations throughout the year. Windsor Castle's shadow means several venues in the SL4 postcode have specific local authority requirements for noise and event timing. We confirm all venue-specific restrictions before booking confirmation — this is standard practice for all Berkshire events.
Henley-on-Thames is another peak demand location, particularly during the Royal Regatta in late June and early July. Riverside gardens along the Oxfordshire bank (just across the county boundary from Berkshire) and private properties in Henley town itself host pre- and post-regatta parties. Marquees & Gardens

Getting there
Berkshire is well connected to London by rail and road. The Elizabeth line (Crossrail) runs from Central London to Reading via Slough and Maidenhead, making Berkshire events accessible for London-based guests within 40-60 minutes. Windsor is served by South Western Railway from Waterloo and GWR from Paddington (changing at Slough). Ascot is on the South Western Railway line from Waterloo.
By road, the M4 connects London to Reading in under an hour and passes through Maidenhead and Slough. The M3 serves Bracknell and Camberley. For country house and estate venues, most have dedicated parking for guests and a clear load-in route for suppliers.
