The service includes a portable bar unit, professional bartenders, a bespoke drinks menu of 4-6 signature serves (cocktails on the £7.50 rate), premium spirits, quality glassware, ice, and full setup and strike. The Sesh Bars covers Reading, Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead and the wider Thames Valley with any travel charge confirmed in your quote. Dry hire (bar and staff only, you supply the drinks) is quoted individually; cash bar packages start from £500 plus a £1,500 minimum bar sales.

What Private Party Bar Hire Includes.
Every private event bar hire booking includes a portable bar unit, one or more professional bartenders, quality glassware sized to your drink menu, full ice provision, and complete setup and strike. We agree setup time and access with you in advance, so you do nothing except enjoy your event.
All-inclusive packages add premium spirits, bespoke drinks menus, beer, wine, soft drinks, and garnishes. Dry hire packages cover the bar unit, staff, and glassware only. You supply the alcohol. Cash bar packages let your guests pay at the bar, with a fixed hire fee and minimum bar-sales requirement set out in your quote.
Every booking carries full public liability insurance. Licensing requirements are checked for each event, and we can arrange a Temporary Event Notice where required and agreed.

Our standard event cocktail menu runs to 25+ recipes, covering stirred classics, shaken sours, bubbly spritzes, and zero-proof alternatives. For private parties, most clients choose 4-6 featured cocktails displayed on a bespoke menu card, giving guests clear options without slowing bar service.
Popular choices for birthday parties and anniversaries include the Pornstar Martini, Espresso Martini, Aperol Spritz, and Velvet Bramble. For garden parties and summer events, our Garden Gimlet and French 75 are consistently the highest-volume pours. Seasonal and themed cocktails, including colour-matched serves for hen parties, are available on bespoke packages.

Private Event Bar Pricing.
Private parties are priced individually for your guest count. Our standard open-bar rates (£6.50 per adult per hour without alcoholic cocktails, £7.50 with, first four hours) apply from 100 adults. They cover bartenders, the bar unit, glassware, premium spirits, ice, soft drinks, and full setup and strike. Extra hours are £4.50 per adult per hour, there is no separate bar-hire fee, and no VAT is added on top of these rates.
Cash bar packages start from a £500 hire fee, which includes VAT where applicable, with a £1,500 minimum bar-sales requirement. Your guests pay at the bar. The minimum is not an extra fee on top of the hire fee, and any shortfall arrangement is confirmed in your quote.

How to Book Private Party Bar Hire.
Submit a quote request via the contact form below or call 0118 449 3066 directly. Share your event date, guest count, venue address, and any cocktail preferences. We respond within 24 hours with a detailed quote and menu suggestions.
Once you approve the quote, a fixed £250 deposit secures your date and begins the cocktail menu design process. We'll send a menu draft within 5 working days. You can revise serves, swap spirits, or add themed elements up to 4 weeks before your event. The balance is due 14 days before the event date.
On the day, our crew arrives at the time agreed with you, builds the bar, preps the cocktails, and is ready to pour when your guests arrive. Setup time depends on the bar and venue access; a simple setup takes around 90 minutes and a full bar two to three hours. We carry out the full strike at the end, including glassware, bar unit and waste. Nothing for you to organise except turning up and enjoying the night.
