Our Home Base
Most mobile bar hire companies serving Reading travel from London and charge a mileage supplement. We don't — because we're already here. The Sesh Bars was founded in Reading by Hemal Patel in 2018. Our equipment is stored locally, our team lives locally, and Reading-area events are where we started.
That means faster setup times, lower costs (no £30-£50 travel surcharge), and a team that knows the local venues. We've worked Sulhamstead Village Hall, Aldermaston Village Hall, venues across Caversham and Sonning, and private gardens in every RG postcode. Venues We Know
We've run events at venues across Reading and the surrounding villages. Recent bookings include a 50th birthday at Sulhamstead Village Hall, cocktails at Aldermaston Village Hall, and private garden parties in Caversham, Sonning, and Earley.
For weddings, the Reading area has outstanding venues. Wasing Park (near Aldermaston) hosts marquee weddings on a private estate. Ufton Court near Ufton Nervet is a Tudor manor house with exclusive-use hire. The Barn at Bear Brook in Aston is a converted barn venue popular for summer weddings. All of these are within 20 minutes of our base.
For corporate events, Reading's town centre hotels — the Malmaison, Roseate Reading, Holiday Inn — have function spaces suited to mobile bar setups. The University of Reading's Great Hall is ideal for larger corporate events and awards dinners.
