02 - Serving the Rush

Keeping Up With the Dance Floor.

Sangeet nights come in waves, everyone dances, the set ends, everyone heads for a drink at once, then it's back to the floor. We pre-batch our most popular serves so a queue of thirty people doesn't mean thirty individually mixed cocktails, and we scale bartender numbers to your guest count so a break in the music doesn't become a bottleneck at the bar.

Mango, passionfruit, and spiced rum serves are popular choices at sangeet nights, alongside a paan-inspired mocktail for guests who aren't drinking. We coordinate directly with your DJ, band, or choreography team on timing so the bar isn't opening or pouring during a performance. See our full cocktail menu for the complete list.

08 - FAQ

Sangeet Night Bar Hire FAQ.

What makes a sangeet bar different from a normal wedding bar? +
Speed and volume. A sangeet runs on dance sets with short breaks between them, so guests hit the bar in waves rather than a steady trickle. We batch the most popular serves ahead of time and run extra hands behind the bar during peak moments so the queue never becomes the thing people remember about the night.
Can you provide a bar for a sangeet at a hired hall or marquee? +
Yes. Hired halls, marquees, hotel function rooms, and community centres across London and Berkshire are typical sangeet venues. We bring a full setup, so the venue only needs to provide the room and a power point. If you're hosting at home instead, our house party bar page covers that setup.
How much does sangeet bar hire cost? +
Dry hire starts from £1,700 if you're supplying the drinks. Cash bar starts from £500 plus a £1,500 minimum spend if guests are buying their own. All-inclusive packages run £6.50-£7.50 per person per hour and cover everything, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and staff. Sangeets typically run 4-5 hours, so an all-inclusive bar for 100 guests over 4 hours lands around £2,600-£3,000.
Do you serve non-alcoholic drinks at a sangeet if some guests don't drink? +
Yes, a full zero-proof cocktail menu is included on every package at no extra charge. Sangeet guest lists usually mix drinkers and non-drinkers across generations in the same room, so we build the menu to work for both from the start rather than treating mocktails as an afterthought.
Can you handle a sangeet with a live band or DJ and a dance floor? +
Yes, and it's the normal setup. We position the bar to keep clear sightlines to the dance floor and stage, and coordinate with your band, DJ, or choreography team on timing, so the bar doesn't open or close during a performance. Tell us the running order when you book and we'll plan around it.
How many bartenders do we need for a sangeet with 150+ guests? +
At 150 guests, two bartenders with a bar back for restocking works well during peak dance-set breaks. Above 200, a third bartender or a second bar point keeps queue times down. We size the team to your guest count and running order when we quote, so service doesn't slow down right when everyone wants a drink.
